First of all I love your content, but I do agree with some comments that the new studio looks really awkward and plain, maybe try moving things around and I feel like a wide view would be better rn it looks so squished together. Also I love listening every week but I feel like every week it’s the same thing it’s more like you guys updating us about your week. Which is cool for a few mins but I wish you had specific topics to talk about and stick to those topics for each episode. Every week has been feeling more like just you guys ranting or talking about your week for almost an hour. I guess what I’m saying is more of a structure to make your pod stand out. You can keep the cozy simple natural vibes going just more variety of topics, asking your viewers more on ig like “this week send us crazy prom stories” “ this week send us advice you would give yourself when you were little” and do a whole segment on that weeks topic specifically. Also spiiling more beans lmao I feel like your content doesn’t go with the title? Idk maybe I’m just crazy 😂

Thank you for the shout out and for acknowledging the hard work we, teachers, do! I teach English 11 and AP Lang. so I have 140 students. 140 students to care for; 140 essays and assignments to grade, etc. - it’s a lot of work, but I love the relationships I build with these kids! Appreciate y’all! 🤍

I feel before becoming a parent you need to be “successful” or accomplished something in your life before having kids. So you don’t take your kids and blame them for not accomplishing something you wanted. I see a lot of people trying to achieve something but they say their kids hold them 😅

I work at a children’s hospital and seeing all the sick kids breaks my heart and makes me think twice of bringing a kid into the world bc I see kids that used to be healthy and all of a sudden be fighting a illness/disease and it breaks my heart.. I also see kids that are born with illnesses/ diseases and that’s hard too por eso le pienso más para traer un niño en este mundo

Guys I love your podcast very much and always look forward hearing you on Spotify Thursdays. I had to come watch on here now to see how the studio is coming out. It does look cozy! It almost looks like your home. I love how Jonathan always opens the door for us to give our outlook on what his opinion or “theories” are about certain topics. Thank you for that Jonathan. I do have to share my outlook on this podcasts and your recent ones. I think that when it comes to parenting; the most important job in this world of course. We should never let go of ourselves & let go of the things that fulfill us and bring joy. Like of course if you party hardy and did the most before kids. Of course it’s time to shut that down or put limitations to it. But when it comes to your personal hobbies, education to better yourself, YOUR RELATIONSHIP MOST IMPORTANTLY and etc. None of those things should be let go. We bring kids to this life by choice but we need to introduce them to our world as well. Yes work around their schedule but don’t forget about yourselves. Also Jonathan I hate to say it but hearing you talk and say how you are still able to go play soccer, hang with friends, go running , and train for marathons. And then say if the day comes that I have to give it up I will. Makes me feel for Blanca. It’s no Secret moms always put all their efforts and strength when birthing a baby. But she’s on the clear now to her stuff now too. I hope you encourage her to not let go of herself now and keep doing things like you do. Also Blanca honey bunch you don’t have to be a “yes man” to everything Jonathan says or thinks just to please him. If you don’t wanna do homeschooling later on that is okay! It almost seems like it’s mainly all Jonathan. But yet la qué va a cargar toda la shinga Al final eres too! Now to answer your question at the end. If we have a bad a relationship with our parents. I can honestly say I don’t have a bad or good relationship with my parents. I usually bump heads more with my mom growing up. I will say one of the things that stood out to me the most as a child and I know resent them for it. My parents gave me and my siblings everything we could need in life. An education, love, and materialistic. They really made me and my siblings their priority and completely lost themselves. I was an only child up until 6 years old. I grew up watching them being loving towards each other. But then after my siblings came they slowly began to drift. I stopped seeing them being loving to one another. As my siblings and I all left the nest. They are still together and married but don’t even have any sort of connection. It’s like they are roommates. Sleeping in separate rooms . Now I’m married and have kids myself and something very important I want to prioritize and show my kids is that her parents love and respect each other. I want her to grow up in that atmosphere. It’s really sad growing up and seeing your parents just be together for companion. They grew up old bonding over having kids only. I see a lot of that in You and Blanca . The 2 of you already sleeping in separate rooms. You guys don’t date or prioritize your relationship. Your kids will be okay and grow up remembering their parents love each other. You guys are so blessed to have the support you do having your mom and sisters. And Jonathan’s parents. Don’t feel bad or guilty asking for help. Go on dates !!!!! Please prioritize your relationship. One day Franco and Belen will leave the nest and then what will your chemistry with Blanca be. When all you guys did for 18 years was “give up” your life for them. ❤

I use to have a good relationship with my mom but parents divorce. mom got remarried again left to another state and well its not the same only see her 2 times in a year

Hi guys loyal viewer here! No disrespect but I think you speak so soon about so much. As a mom myself I used to do the same but this was before I had my kids. Just take it day by day because maybe without you realizing it you sound like you know everything about parenting now. And trust me I get it! But as parents and human beings we never stop learning. Even my grandma who had all her kids and was older would say she was still learning. I feel this might be a condescending message but I promise I’m just a loyal viewer with an audience perspective ❤

Congrats on the new studio!! 👏🏼 Talking about starting over, I started really, really young. Had my daughter, waited 5 years had my son and we had a house a good job and I was 27 thought maybe 1 more, had a miscarriage 😢, a rainbow baby girl at 28 and a half and an IUD baby girl at 30 👧🏻🧒🏻👧🏻👧🏻 by 30 and in between the younger 2 - 10 years. I’m 45 my daughter is 31, soon will be 26 daughters is 16 and youngest daughter will be 15 in July. Planning her quince now 😅. We thought we were DONE when I was 20 😅 God had better plans 🙏🏻🥰

As someone who is pregnant while in law school, I plan to be an attorney that is still present in my child’s life. In order to achieve economic freedom it’ll take me some time, to reach the ladder but once I’m there my time will be to dedicate to my child solely.. my babygirl will have a mom to look up to and that’s something that I have to remember.

Yes, less kids you have the less risk! but think about how something happening to one of your kids (lord forgive). Then that would leave them by themselves! That is my story my brother passed away in 2016 and I had never felt so lonely. I also only had two (boy&girl) but after my brother passed away, I knew I had to have more kids not saying it would happen to me (y primero dios no) but somedays I struggle so much I wish I had my older brother here with me.

What a great podcast!! Truly enjoy listening and finding ways I can improve my relationship with my son. I can say my mom is my friend but I can’t relate with others when they say my moms my bestest friend. She was never affectionate with us and looking back my grandparents weren’t either so I can understand her in that way. She has different ways of showing her love to her children. Now as a grandma she is much more affectionate and vocal about her feelings. We still don’t have that as it comes off awkward. Hoping with time it will change. ❤❤

I complete agree with you Johnathan- our kids are only small for a little time and then they become adults and leave the nest. A present parent is what a child looks for, it’s not the monetary or gifts . From a lonely nest parent. I only had 1 and now him as an adult is hard for me cus we were always together. Now he is building his career and I am so proud of him and his goals.

Love listening to this podcast! Lifts up my mood in the morning. I’ve been having such a bad week as a mom of 2 toddlers it’s really hard. To not being able to eat to take care of my kids and getting stuff done at home. Sometimes I just think about ending my life and no one knows I’m going through this and it hurts 💔

First off, your studio looks very comfortable and it reveals a sense of peace for us that are anxiously waiting on Fridays. Blanca reminded me, when i was always thinking of not having children after 30. I used to add my kids ages to 30, LOL. But God had other plans, i had my last 2 children at almost 41 and my last at 43, and it was the best blessing, because that's when i was able to realize that I was a good mom 🥲 because i had been in a abusive relationship, and i thought that just providing a meal, cleaning was being good home stay mom. But I was wrong; And i thank God for my kids after 40.📿🙏

At a young age it’s very hard to have a good relationship with parents especially because of our hormones as children and preteens. Now as an adult my mom is my best friend. I feel like it’s a normal thing…..

I think you don’t have to give up on your life I think you just incorporate your kids to your life. There are nice hobbies that you may have that your kids can join! Like soccer Franco one day will be able to play with you and you will enjoy your hobby while he creates one!

I really enjoyed this weeks episode . I heard it yesterday and I wanted to support here and see the new studio . Thank you for taking the time to shout out us teachers and educators. It is a difficult journey to navigate , yet the most rewarding ( I teach special education so my day to day is different ) My advise to you as a teacher and a soon to be home school momma is to start looking into curriculums now , familiarize yourself with certain concepts especially phonics . It is the hardest concept to teach . You will do a great job , You already have with Franco and now Belen . I can’t wait to see you navigate that journey when the time comes .
